Welcome to ICAPS'08
ICAPS-2008, the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling, will take place in Sydney, Australia on September 14-18, 2008.ICAPS is the premier forum for exchanging news and research results on theory and applications of intelligent planning and scheduling technology. The conference is part of the ICAPS conference series.
The conference program will consist of pre-conference workshops and tutorials on current reserach topics, invited talks by leading computer scientists working in the area, presentations of contributed technical papers, as well as system demonstrations. For graduate students the conference includes a doctoral consortium. Travel support for PhD students will be available.

Invited Speakers
The ICAPS invited speaker will be Jeffrey Rosenschein. The joint ICAPS-CP invited speaker will be John Hooker. The joint ICAPS-KR invited speaker will be Ronen Brafman.Collocation
ICAPS'08 will be collocated with the following scientific meetings: International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP'08), International Conference on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR'08) and Workshop on Nonmonotonic Reasoning (NMR'08). ICAPS registration fee includes attendance to the CP and KR conference talks as well as CP workshops and tutorials. ICAPS will share some of the sessions and invited talks with CP and KR.Travel and Venue
